We have reported on the successful launch of the Windows Phone 7 Series operating system on the smartphone HTC HD2 only yesterday. However, this information has turned out to be a fake.
Representatives of resource MobileTechWorld told that it is possible to emulate the work of the latest operating system from Microsoft virtually on any device. Video with Windows Phone 7 on Touch Diamond phone, which does not differ with its powerful hardware, was published as an example. Runing WP7 on it generally seems a miracle.
Today, another record has appeared on the web, allegedly confirming the launch of the operating system Maemo from Nokia on the same HD2.
Installation, which does not cause suspicion, and is plausible, turned out to be an easy one. It is necessary to switch the screen on a PC in portrait mode and change its resolution at 720 x 480 resolution. Then the computer runs Windows Phone 7 emulator, while on the smartphone is a program to control a remote desktop with which you should connect to a PC.
The authors of the first breaking video wanted to trick and got WP7 installed that way. It is worth noting that in the room where the picture was taken, lighting was not very good, and the smartphone wasn’t shown fully.
Maemo OS on HD2 is fake too – the author has admitted that himself.
