Though HTC has reported that sales of Wildfire will start in the third quarter of this year (July, August and September), more and more sources suggest that the new device will be available already in June.
The latest information about Wildfire was received from France, where the Frandroid resource wrote that the new Android-smartphone will be released in June.
As for the price of the device, the French website indicates that HTC Wildfire will cost 299 Euros (unlocked, without a contract with the operator) , which is more than previously estimated 250 Euros. The price of 300 Euros is high enough for a smartphone with a QVGA-display, even with a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Sense UI, etc.
HTC Wildfire will be available only in Europe and Asia, however, HTC may decide to release the version for North America too.
