The HTC Vigor is coming! This is great news for all those geeks who have already heard that once this phone is launched there won’t be any handset to be able to compete with it. Why? Because you can’t find any other smartphone with the features the HTC Vigor is packed with. The Vigor will be the first smartphone in the market sporting an HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 and a number of other powerful features.
Verizon’s leaked document shows the HTC Vigor will be launched on October 13 as the HTC Incredible HD. When the phone was spotted first, many analysts said it was similar to the Incredible line handsets and most likely, they were right.
The leaked document confirms the HTC Vigor’s specs list, and now we are sure that the Incredible HD and the Vigor are actually the same device coming with the same features:
- Supports Verizon’s 4G LTE Network
- 4.3-inch WVGA display optimized for HD content
- 1.5GHz dual-core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- Android 2.3.4
- 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and Full HD 1080p video recording
- 2MP front camera with notification LED flash
- 1620mAh battery with wireless inductive charging capabilities
- Mobile HotSpot capabilities
- 48GB of storage out of the box (16 onboard, 32 in a pre-installed microSD card)
- Pair of Beats headphones.
The only confusing thing is the WVGA display, but I guess that’s an initial name (maybe in jargon) of HD screens.
