By the end of July we heard about a new Android device that is going to be launched via HTC. I am speaking about the HTC Vigor, which will be packed with a number of high-end features, and though there will be other handsets powered with larger screens, the Vigor differs from them with its 1.5GHz dual-core processor. By saying “other smartphones” I meant the HTC Titan with its 4.7-inch touchscreen and running Windows Phone Mango, and the HTC Runnymede with almost the same features but running Android 2.3.4. Now when the HTC Vigor’s press shot has leaked and we have already seen the phone on a Dutch online retailer website, we can say it will be officially unveiled in a few days.

I said the HTC Vigor sports a smaller display, but its display is actually better than those of the the aforementioned two handsets — the Vigor is packed with a 4.3-inch 1280×720 (!) HD display.
The other features of the smartphone include an 8MP camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The phone is good in terms of software, too, so it runs Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.5. Plus, it will provide Beats Audio technology like the HTC Sensation XE.
As you see it is packed with many awesome features and can become the second HTC Thunderbolt. Some people are already calling it the Thunderbolt 2 ![]()
