HTC Vigor… New Android Device?

We don’t know much about the HTC Vigor. The smartphone was first spotted in July 2009, but then it disappeared, and we didn’t hear anything about it for two long years. Now, thanks to NenaMark, we have some news about a mysterious Android device, which is, most likely, the HTC Vigor.

Thanks to an “anonymous” benchmark run on NenaMark, the HTC Vigor will have rather powerful features. First of all I have to mention the display resolution, which is 1280×720 (!). The HTC Vigor will also have a powerful 1.5GHz processor (no idea if it’s dual-core or not… But I hope it is!) and Qualcomm Adreno GPU. Android 2.3.4 seems to be its operating system, and most likely it will run on Verizon’s network.

The last thing that remains to be said is the camera – it will most likely be a 6MP one.

We can’t be sure the device is real. After all, it’s all based on a benchmark, and it can turn out to be a fake. However, if the HTC Vigor is real and if it’s released with the listed specs, I’m sure the smartphone will be very, very popular.
