Little by little we learned about the carriers’ list introducing which handsets will get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. And though Verizon Wireless was thought to be the first one to push out ICS update to its consumers, AT&T surpassed Big Red and is currently rolling out the update for the HTC Vivid. For Verizon’s models we have only assumptions. According to one of them, the HTC Rezound will get its portion of update this week, on April 6.
The leaked document shows the HTC Rezound won’t be the first handset from Verizon’s portfolio to get ICS as the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX and its sibling, the Droid RAZR will be the first to get the aforementioned update. The info is not official. It comes from Best Buy, where other handsets as well are scheduled to get the update.
For the rest of the devices we have no update launch date, but it’s noteworthy to list them — the HTC Thunderbolt, the HTC Droid Incredible 2, the HTC Rhyme, the LG Spectrum, the Motorola Droid 4, the Motorola Droid Bionic, the Motorola Xoom, the Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2, the Motorola Droid Xyboard 10.1, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Is your handset included in the list?
