HTC Gold, HTC Schubert and HTC Spark: Future WP7 Devices

In the firmware of one of the first smartphones running Windows Phone 7 the tricky craftsmen found something interesting — the names of four devices, which previously were not known — the HTC Gold, the HTC Schubert and the HTC Spark.

The HTC Gold — the HTC Gold_W, where W stands for “WorldPhone,” which supports GSM and CDMA, is likely to come via Sprint. The HTC Schubert will appear via Canadian Telus. And the HTC Spark (HTC Spark_W) will most likely be released by the U.S. and Canadian Bell Mobility and Verizon operators.

Well, as we remember, the HTC Mondrian will also appear via Telus and Rogers.

It is also possible that the above mentioned names are just the names of various modifications of the same device, so we can’t say anything for sure until they are released or until we get some official info.

It is worth noting that the list does not include any of the European mobile operators. Does this mean that the priority for the WP7 is given to the U.S. and Canadian market, or the information about the devices for Europe is kept secret?
