HTC Explorer is Available for Pre-Orders in UK

We are so occupied with high-end smartphones that don’t see the mid-range smartphone market growing up. Though HTC mainly focuses on the phones that are making high-level competition to the best handsets that are on the market, there are a few smartphones fighting in other fronts. The latest “warrior” of the mid-range smartphone market is the HTC Explorer and now it’s available for pre-orders in the UK.

All in all, the HTC Explorer is going to be the cheapest Android-powered device in the world, but it doesn’t mean we are dealing with a weak handset. Vice versa, the HTC Explorer is packed with all the necessary features and we can say for sure it won’t surrender; it’ll fight till the end. Well, the HTC Explorer features a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, 90MB of built-in memory, 512MB of ROM, 384MB of RAM, and the memory can be expanded up to 32GB due to a microSD card slot, a 3.15MP rear camera and a 600MHz processor.

The hardware doesn’t seem that attractive, but when it comes to the software, we understand the phone doesn’t yield any other Android device. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5 UI. As you know that’s the latest version of HTC’s user interface, and quite a little number of handsets run v.3.5.
