What’s going on? Verizon is offering its customers who pre-ordered the HTC Droid Incredible to shift to the Motorola Droid X without paying extra money!
This means that instead of getting the HTC Droid you can choose the option of getting a “native” brand device. Honestly, these two devices look alike, which means that the shift is reasonable.
The main differences are the screen and memory amounts (in both cases the Motorola device wins). But instead you won’t be able to use the HTC Sense UI if you get Motorola, while it offers much more opportunities than the MotoBlur does!
As for the platform, we should mention that both of the device are going to be updated to Android Froyo soon, thus this cannot serve as a criteria for making your choice.
