Yesterday we got the news that AT&T is acquiring T-Mobile, which is an interesting case itself. This means that soon we will get more of monopoly in the U.S. market. Anyways this announcement was followed with no less interesting one. AT&T is going to release two new gadgets sometime soon of HTC and LG brands. In both of the cases we are going to witness high-end gadgets designed for the top-level customers.
HTC device is going to be HTC HD7 S. It is planned to be almost identical with the original HTC HD7, but in this case the connectivity will be compatible with AT&T networks. As for the main differences we will be having a Super LCD display and also NoDo update pre-installed on it. The last will lead to the functionality of the cut/paste, which used to be missing at the release of the original gadget.
The release date of the gadget remains unknown, though experts think that the release will take place sometime in the beginning of April. The price is assumed to be similar to the original gadget.
LG gadget is going to be a 4G glass-free 3D support device with huge 4.3 inch LCD display and dual-core processor. The rest of the specs include 8 GB of storage capability with the chance of additional 8GB of microSD card support, 5 megapixel camera, Android 2.2.
It would’ve been much impressive if AT&T would release a brand new HTC device, while still the option of HTC HD7 is not a bad choice among the wide list of Windows Phone 7 based HTC devices.
