Recent surf of the Microsoft website brought some interesting information about the WP7 operating system. As I have already mentioned, Microsoft has just launched the Windows Phone 7, and in order to withstand the competition among the new mobile operating systems Microsoft have to maintain the most modern communication standards and now we have that : Windows Phone 7 supports both the most popular networking standards for 4G – LTE (technically 3.9G) and WiMAX.
Certainly, only OEM can enable them to launch WP7 based devices supporting 4G, but this information in some sense confirms the rumors that Dell intends to release a LTE version of the Dell Lightning, and LG – WiMAX- version of its WP7.
