I guess no one will argue that the Nokia Lumia 710 and the HTC Radar 4G are archenemies. This time the battle arena is Canada, where both handsets are launched, but the Radar is in a more beneficial position as it is offered via more carriers. This means HTC’s representative in Windows Phone market is welcomed better and provides higher sales. Now the Lumia 710 must be more attentive, as its competitor is offered via one more carrier, WIND Mobile.
I can list at least three carriers currently offering the HTC Radar 4G to their subscribers. They are SaskTel, Videotron and Cincinnati Bell. On the other hand, the Nokia Lumia 710 is offered via Rogers and if my memory serves me well, via Vodafone as well. Evidently, the more the carriers are, the more sold devices there will be. So we can conclude HTC has won in Canada.

As for WIND Mobile, the HTC Radar 4G is the carrier’s first Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphone. This is why the handset can cause a huge stir around it. The pre-register page is now live and you can order your own device, unfortunately the exact launch date and pricing are not available at the moment. But we do not think the carrier will set a price different from other deals.
