When the European version of the HTC Sensation was launched, it was one of the best HTC devices due to its solid casing, large display and dual-core processor. Around eight months have passed since then, and at the moment it’s no longer that popular.
To prolong the life of one of its most successful handsets, HTC decided to start the shipments of the device’s white option. HTC Germany confirmed this info. The hardware of the two color options will be identical. The design of the handsets will also be similar, while the software features will be somewhat different.
If the gray HTC Sensation came with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0 UI, the white Sensation will come pre-equipped with Android 4.0 ICS. Rumors say once the white option is launched, the grayish version handsets will also get Android ICS update.
The white version of the HTC Sensation will be available on March 1, while the pricing of the smartphone is yet not announced. I think it will be available with the same price tag as the HTC Sensation at its first launch.
