The HTC Evo 3D, one of the latest and the most popular devices of HTC, is now going to be released in a white housing exclusively via RadioShack.
When the phone was announced at CTIA 2011, it made a stir since it was the only smartphone in the market with an ability to capture 3D videos. So the phone should not be cheap — the same RadioShack requires $199.99 for the smartphone. I am not talking about its unlocked version’s price tag, $699.99. The device was launched in the U.S. via Sprint, but RadioShack was also working with the carrier, promoting the phone and taking pre-orders for it. And the retailer was there when the pre-orders for the HTC Evo 3D began. That was in April, and after several months this handset made its steps in Europe, too.
Later another Evo line smartphone that has become the best selling Android device in the U.S., the HTC Evo 4G, was released. But it is not enough for HTC, so the manufacturer designed the white version of the Evo 3D that will be offered on September 9 via RadioShack for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
