During the last months Verizon and HTC were in a closest cooperation, which ensured very affordable deals for us. Now HTC is having hard times with its sales, and this fact would definitely have an impact on its activity — it refers not only to the choice of carriers, but also to the handsets and the prices (of both to be launched and already released handsets). All this works in favor of consumers wishing to get the HTC Rezound or the Rhyme, because their price tags are cut by half.
According to PhoneArena, an anonymous tipster sent them a secret document clearly showing the two abovementioned smartphones are not high-valued handsets and are now affordable to everyone. Starting today (January 9) the much-desirable Rezound is said to become available for only $199.99 instead of $299.99. As for the HTC Rhyme, this handset’s price was discounted by $50 and consumers will have to pay $149.99 instead of the previous $199.99 price tag. Both handsets can be purchased at these prices only with a two-year agreement with Big Red.
A few more hours and we’ll see whether this information is true or not.
