The HTC Flyer has been available for a long time now, still the Canadian users didn’t get the chance to purchase it in Canada. Earlier we were expecting Telus to sell the tablet, but then The Source, which is Bell’s retail outlet, ended up giving the customers the opportunity.
The price for the 7-inch tablet is the same as for the U.S. version of the it, that is $499.99. But it doesn’t include the popular HTC Scribe — the customers will have to pay additional $79.99 for the stylus.
As for those who are wondering whether they will get 3G or Wi-Fi-only version of the tablet, you better contact The Source itself. The thing is that from the shot above we can think that only the Wi-Fi version version will be available, while the list of the specs includes something like “3G Modes/Bands supported.” Confusing.
The HTC Flyer is equipped with a 7-inch display (which was an innovative approach from HTC) with a resolution of 1024 × 600, a 1.5Ghz powerful single-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage capability, a 5MP camera with auto-focus and 720p HD video recording capabilities, a 1.3 front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and, what is most important, a 4000mAh battery to support long-term run of the tablet.
