It will feature the same UltraPixel camera as the HTC One and HTC One miniand will hopefully launch on Android 4.3

The HTC One Max is rumoured to launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 nd Sony Honami at IF AN in September, but we have yet to receive an invitation to any press event

In other HTC related news, the HTC One Mini may be taking a leaf from Samsung Galaxy S4 book, launching in a range of versions in different markets

The news comes via Focus Taiwan and though there is not a whole lot of information around this news nugget, we think it could relate to a wider range of colors and different processors for different markets .

Rumoured specifications for the HTC One Max include a 5.9 inch 1920×1080 pixel (Full HD 1080p) screen, top of the range 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32 OR 64 GB of storage depending on version, and a 3,200Mah battery.

Whether the HTC One Max will feature stylus support remains to be seen. HTC  has used stylus technology before in the past abroad its ill-fated HTC Flyer tablet. Given the size of the HTC One Max, a stylus would make sense. It would also allow the device to better compete with the likes of Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The forthcoming HTC One Max looks like a blown up version of the One. The model is a non final press image, which means things could change before the device is launched. The LED flash is placed  under the camera lens , instead of the left and then there is the plastic trim on the side ala the One mini.

The device is likely to be powdered by a Snapdragon800 quad core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and paired with 2 GB of RAM. The phablet will sport a 5.9 inch 1080p display and will have a 3,300m Ah battery inside. There is even talk about a Chinese model that will have dual SIM capabilities and a micro SD card slot for memory expansion
