Hotfix for HTC Touch2 is now available on the official European website of HTC, according to the usual abstract description allowing to set MP3 for incoming call.

However, this feature is already present in smartphones and the update is likely to solve the problem of playing mp3-tones for incoming calls, in which the sound appears only at the request of the device.

The patch is designed for installation on the firmware version 1.33.XXX.X and below.

Installation instructions:
1) Download the hotfix from the official site or from the mirror on depositfiles (EXE, 1.3mb)
2) Copy the file to smartphone
3) Start and follow the instructions on the screen
4) Restart the smartphone and you’re done!

Warning! After a hard reset or flashing the user will need to install the hotfix again.

HTC has released a hotfix for the HTC Touch2, which resolves some problems with the automatic updates of weather forecast.

The description from the official website states: “This update for HTC Touch2 allows us to bring you updates wherever your location, so you know the relevant weather information for where you are, no matter if you are on a 3G or a 2G network.”

As usual, this is a vague comment. But, judging from the content of the file, the update is a fresh firmware for the radio module (Radio_Signed_61.42t.25.31_3.49.25.05). So, changes are possible on the reception of cellular networks, WiFi, GPS and time on one battery charge.

This update is only applicable to the ROM version is equal to 1.30.XXX.X or lower.

2) Synchronize your smartphone with your PC
3) Run the downloaded file on your PC and follow the instructions

This time the “victim” is the smartphone called HTC Touch2. This only 4 ounces weighing smartphone has a list of cool features. But the one improved has to do with the weather. The newest feature allows to get updated with the weather information for you location regardless of the network used — 3G or 2G.
