HTC Merge Coming To Verizon Q4

Still have some doubts whether the novelty of HTC will be called HTC Merge or HTC Lexicon? Well, according to the leaked roadmap of Verizon HTC Merge will be the name for the device. And another fact is that it will arrive for the forth quarter of 2010. The list for the same quarter is being completed with such gadgets from various manufacturers as Droid 2 Global of Motorola, Motorola Droid Pro and LC enV Pro. Well, this means that the competition is not going to be too tough.

But we do have something more than this on the leaked roadmap. Two known devices from HTC. Those are named as HTC Imagio and HTC Ozone. Well, I would say that there’s no need to concentrate on those as the Q3 is pretty much here anyways!

Recently, at the international exhibition CTIA WIRELESS 2010 HTC introduced HTC Imagio – a new smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.5.

The HTC Imagio smartphone has a simple and intuitive interface, TouchFLO 3D, quite different from the usual scheme of Windows Mobile. This interface offers users customized widgets – weather, GPS, TV, Office, etc.

As it is known, the device supports digital TV, using its own signal receiving antenna, located on the back of the phone.

Among other technical specifications of HTC Imagio can be noted a 5-megapixel camera with VGA (with frequency of up to 14 fps) , accelerometer, support for MicroSD cards, 3.5-mm audio input, Wi-Fi.

The device formerly known as Whitestone can be acquired from Verizon Wireless for $200 with a two-year contract.

HTC Imagio XV6975

Verizon Wireless plans to launch HTC Imagio early this month as Verizon XV6975. Just for more info here the XV6975 runs WinMo 6.5 and supports Wi-Fi, VCast MobileTV.

Screen is 3.6 inches with a resolution of 800×480 pixels and XV6975 also has a built-in 5 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm jack for headphones 528 MHZ processor inside.
