We talked about the HTC Amaze just yesterday, and there was no official information about when the phone will head to T-Mobile. Now everything is clear because the Amaze (aka Ruby) will be ready for pre-order on October 10, and will appear on stores on October 12.
The HTC Amaze is the next Android handset of T-Mobile and it has no other goal than to update the carrier’s portfolio. Anyway, if you think this handset yields to other Android-powered smartphones, then it’s my fault because most likely I didn’t manage to introduce the device well. Actually, the Amaze sports great features many other handsets dream to have on board. It especially comes to the 4.3-inch qHD LCD display, the 8MP camera with dual-LED flash, plus it can record Full HD videos at 1080p, but this is not all, as the camera is powered with SmartShot and PerfectPics software to shoot better pictures. The phone supports T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, so it offers 42Mbps connectivity. And of course, such a great phone runs the latest Android 2.3.4.
The HTC Amaze 4G for T-Mobile will cost $260 with a two-year contract and mail-in rebate of $50.
