T-Mobile Official Statement About Wi-Fi and Wireless Tethering

We were considering ourselves happy with the fact of having cool update ready for G2 devices despite the idea of being it rather informal. And now the fact that T-Mobile is having out a official statement concerning the case. Let’s see what we knew from the earlier rumors- G2 was going to get an update which would add wireless tethering and Wi-Fi features to the list of its specs.

And now the official announcement states: ” Wi-Fi Calling and tethering/Wi-Fi sharing are not currently supported on the T-Mobile G2. T-Mobile knows these features are important to consumers and we’re working to deliver them to G2 users in the future. We have nothing further to announce at this time”.

Well, no date of release is somewhat disappointing but still it’s official!
