A doc was leaked showing the “nearing EOL” status is applied to a list of T-Mobile devices. The list includes the following HTC and LG devices: the HTC Sensation 4G, the HTC Amaze 4G, the LG DoublePlay, the LG myTouch Q and the LG myTouch.
The decision is somewhat reasonable for the three LG devices, but the life of the HTC devices can be prolonged. The main explanation can be the decision to replace current 4G handsets with upcoming HTC devices.
Mobile World Congress 2012 is just around the corner, which means we can expect the launch of the HTC Ville. In all probability, it will land on T-Mobile as soon as it’s officially announced. What we know about the phone is, it will be the slimmest HTC device. The launch of the HTC Endeavor is not excluded either, though the carrier is yet not announced. So don’t you think the two phones will be removed to be replaced with these two high-end Android handsets? For my part I hope yes, otherwise many consumers will accuse the carrier of an unreasonable move.
