HTC’s next smartphone that is going to be headed to T-Mobile is the Amaze, which was also known as the HTC Ruby. Some rumors say it will be launched instead of the myTouch 4G, but I guess this will be another handset, out of the myTouch series. Anyway, now we have grabbed some HTC Amaze 4G pictures from CellPhoneSignal.
The phone looks quite attractive but we can’t say the developers have created a piece of art, because most of HTC smartphones look like each other, and this one is no exception. I guess HTC is paying more attention not to the external look of the smartphones but to their hardware and software features. So let’s see what features the phone comes equipped with.
First, this handset boasts a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, plus, it also provides 4G connectivity through T-Mobile’s HSPA+ pipeline with data speed as high as 42Mbps. The HTC Amaze 4G is good enough in software area, too, as it runs Android 2.3 with HTC Sense 3.5.
So we only have to hope the announced launch date, October 26, will not change. I think this phone has a long way to go.
