When the fourth generation network started to spread statewide, manufacturers began to actively work on smartphones that would support it. It referred not to all carriers, but only to the biggest ones, as it was clear mobile makers wouldn’t provide all of them with such expensive handsets. Of course, T-Mobile is not from those who have any reason to worry about. And when in the middle of April the HTC Sensation 4G’s details began to surface over the net, we saw T-Mobile’s 4G smartphone wouldn’t yield to other carriers’ ones in any aspect.
Generally, its details were discovered very quickly, and a month later we were aware about almost all its features. Well, the HTC Sensation 4G for T-Mobile sports a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 1GB internal memory, microSD card slot (8GB is included in the box), 8MP camera with dual-LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. As for software, I just have to mention Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and the HTC Sense UI 3.0.
So as you see it doesn’t yield to other high-end 4G smartphones in any aspect, therefore its price must be similar to them. Yesterday T-Mobile announced the price for its HTC Sensation 4G. The device will be available for $199.99 with a two-year contract, or buyers will have to pay $549.99 without any agreement. So I guess the price is quite affordable taking into account the features the smartphone comes with. But let’s see whether it is a competitive price if compared with other smartphones.

The HTC Sensation 4G is not the cheapest and not the most expensive 4G smartphone in the market, so I guess T-Mobile has a chance to succeed with it. Moreover, the phone will be launched on June 8, which is a plus for it, as other similar handsets have been launched earlier and the Sensation can bring new sensations to HTC lovers.
