The US HTC One X will be launched via several carriers. One of them is Sprint the version of which is called the HTC Evo 4G LTE. The phone is already official, and we know everything about the handset except for its launch date. Now that the Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE page is live and the carrier will get pre-orders starting from May 7 we can assume the phone’s launch date is closer. The question to be answered is when exactly?
A few weeks ago the phone passed through FCC hinting at its nearing launch date. Afterward, Sprint launched a promo video in which the HTC Evo 4G LTE was introduced in all its charm boasting of its thickness. The carrier has also thought of an attractive slogan for it — as thin as pin.
As of now, several leaked docs observed by GoodAndEvo and those materials say the HTC Evo 4G LTE will be launched via Sprint on May 18. Moreover, according to the source, those marketing materials will be given to Sprint employees starting from May 14. So quite possibly the stores will receive phones on that day.
Well, if these materials prove true, then we’ll get our hands on the HTC Evo 4G LTE in a couple of weeks.
