The HTC Arrive is Sprint’s first device running Windows Phone 7. Most likely, it is the selling point of this device as the phone doesn’t boast of awesome features. Many manufacturers would dream of having such a smartphone in their portfolio and they would definitely call it high-end. But HTC has made such devices that the Arrive seems nothing but just a mid-range smartphone among them. However, you can get acquainted with its pros and cons in our HTC Arrive review. Right now I have gladsome news for you — Sprint cut the Arrive’s price from $199 to $99.
This phone was launched in March and quickly became very popular. It has all the features for it; a standard HTC smartphone look, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a respectable specs list including a 3.6-inch touchscreen, 8/16 of internal memory, 576MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a 5MP camera, a 1GHz processor and runs Windows Phone 7 (though the device was spotted running Mango as well).
Well, now Sprint offers the US version of the HTC 7 Pro for $100, but it doesn’t mean the carrier wants to get rid of it. On the contrary, most likely HTC will unveil the HTC Arrive 2 at CES 2012 and I guess Sprint will be the carrier offering the phone in the States.
