The fact that HTC plans not to get rid of the AMOLED screens and use instead Super LCD for its smartphones is somehow already official. And now some are arguing about the fact which of the screens is better.

Howardforums used the popular Telus HTC Desire with SLCD and Nexus One with AMOLED for comparison. The results of the test weren’t surprising. The idea of keeping the AMOLED screen becomes more reasonable with the testing. This screen has better vertical angle of viewing, while the horizontal viewing is more convenient for SLCD.
