Setting Screen Rotation on HTC HD2

HD2_rotation_1As it is already known, the old devices with a gravitation sensor program G-Config adds/removes programs in the White list automatically. There is no such a  sensor on the new HTC HD2 and the user has to make  this changes manually.

To do this you should find the File Explorer and structure of the Window Class (contains a pointer to a function, how the window should response to user) using Dot Freds Task Manager tab or Windows widgets (Menu-Tab Options-Select Tab-Windows) and then add the required application.

Then turn to the RegEdit tab (Registry Editor) and go to the branch HKCU\Software\HTC\GSensor\WhiteList.  After that create a new key (must be REG_SZ) and set its value with the Window Class. Do this with all the programs to which you want to apply a rotation of the screen.

You will have to restart the phone to save the changes. This takes a large amount of timing from the user , so this might be something for the HTC to work on in the upcoming updates.
