The HTC Incredible S is one from those “S” named smartphones that are designed for European and Asian markets especially. It was said the phone will hit UK market before the end of March. For US market is will be renamed to the HTC Droid Incredible 2 and it will be available for $550. Usually, there is no great variety of colors the phones comes in, but this is not that case, as an online Danish electronics retailer introduced the red version of this phone that looks pretty nice.
The Incredible S is a worthy successor of the original Incredible and comes with a 4-inch Super LCD touchscreen with resolution of 480×800 pixels, 1GHz processor, 768MB of RAM and captures with an 8MP camera that has got an ability to record HD videos.
The HTC Incredible S is an android 2.2-powered smartphone designed for those users who have an active lifestyle and supports for HSPA 3G, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
This is a high-end smartphone, and no one can argue with that, but I don’t think the carriers and retailers would require very much for it, as the phone is made for mass market. And generally, the smartphone market is full of devices and manufacturers in cooperation with carriers must invent something new to attract customers, what the retailer is trying to do.
The launch date of the HTC Incredible S and its price are unknown, so i tend to think there are some negotiations between HTC and the Danish retailer, but I guess it is a good chance to sell more units there, so we could expect the HTC Incredible S in red soon.
