Starting yesterday AT&T is accepting pre-orders for the HTC One X. But the carrier’s stores are not the only place from where you can pre-order your device — Radio Shack comes up with a similar offer and it requires less than the carrier.
While AT&T wants you to sign a two-year contract and pay $199.99 for the HTC One X, Radio Shack is selling it for $149.99 with the same two-year contract. But to attract more consumers the retailer will give you a special code allowing you to download seven Goldplay tunes for free. Moreover, the retailer’s reps will pass an extensive training on the device to answer any question you might have.
The HTC One X is queued to be launched in the States on May 6, and though the European variant of the phone is already released, the American model has been delayed because of problems related to Snapdragon S4 chips. As you must be already aware the US model is packed with a dual-core processor to support AT&T’s LTE network because the quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 found on the International model lacks this ability. Anyway the rest of the features remain the same, thus you should be knowing what to expect from the phone.
