Yesterday we talked about two HTC smartphones, which featured T-Mobile’s end-of-life status in the US. Most likely the HTC Flyer, the Blackberry Torch 9860 and the iPhone 3GS will appear in the same situation. All these devices will soon get discontinued by Orange UK.
The HTC Flyer and the Blackberry Torch 9860 will be sold until the end of the month, which means you will have just a day to get one of them in case you really want one. Though I believe the retailer stores will continue selling the handset for a few more days.
As for the iPhone 3GS the EOL will be obtained in March. Starting February Orange UK will only sell the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S.
Well, I’m curious about the possible replacements of the HTC Flyer. If in case of the HTC Amaze 4G and the HTC Sensation 4G we had the HTC Ville and the HTC Endeavor, then in all likelihood the HTC Flyer will be replaced with the new generation tablets sporting quad-core processors.
