We wrote about HTC’s possible upcoming smartphone – the HTC Vigor – only a couple of days ago, and now we have some new info about it! A Dutch phone dealers’ website has news about the smartphone, and now we can make sure the smartphone really exists. And we have a great opportunity to see what it looks like.
The HTC Vigor is expected to have a 1.5GHz processor (still not sure if it’s a dual-core one) and a graphics processing unit Adreno 220 (similar to MSM8660 that can be found inside the HTC EVO 3D and the HTC Puccini tablet). Besides, it seems like the device will be running Android 2.3.4, which also seems to be great news.
So HTC is trying to set new standards for performance, and the next generation of smartphones created by the Taiwanese manufacturer will be equipped with processors with a minimum frequency of 1.5GHz. Among these upcoming devices we can mention the HTC Ignite and the HTC Prime – two Windows Phone-based smartphones that are expected to be released this year.
The benchmark that was mentioned in our previous post showed that the HTC Vigor is going to have a big display with 1280×720 resolution, which is very good even for a tablet, not to mention a smartphone…
