Last month we wrote that the Kaspersky Lab found more than 70 dangerous Android apps on the Android Market. Now Mobile Security Company Lookout managed to find other two dozens of apps affected with a new malware called “Droid Dream Light.”
“Likely created by the same developers who brought DroidDream to market back in March, more than 25 applications were found to be infected with a stripped down version of DroidDream we’re calling ‘Droid Dream Light’ (DDLight),” Lookout reports.
According to the company, the number of the phones infected with this malware is about 30-120,000. And here you can find the list of dangerous apps and their developers. As far as we know, they are already removed from the Android Market, but be careful anyway.

As we wrote earlier, if you want your smartphone to be infected with this “Droid Dream Light” thing, better be careful and don’t download apps with strange names (agree that “Sexy Girls: Hot Japanese,” for example, doesn’t sound that trustworthy…) developed by unknown teams.
