myTouch 3G Slide Android Smartphone Announced

T-Mobile was the first carrier in the U.S., that introduced Android smartphone back in 2008. Since then, T-Mobile continue to offer its customers more of that. Recently, representatives of T-Mobile have unveiled the next smartphone running the Google’s Android OS – the myTouch 3G Slide.

The new device is very similar to the popular model myTouch 3G and the key difference is the sliding QWERTY-keyboard. It is reported that T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide will be available in black, white and red colors.

myTouch 3G Slide is the first smartphone, where HTC Sense user interface and Android 2.1 OS are combined with a full physical QWERTY-keyboard.

myTouch 3G Slide Specifications:

  • Google Android 2.1 OS and HTC Sense UI;
  • Processor with 600 MHz;
  • 3.4-inch screen with HVGA resolution;
  • 5 MP camera;
  • microSD card of 8 GB in the box.

The smartphone is expected to be available in June. There is no official data about the price of the device, but, according to the experts, myTouch 3G Slide will cost from $149 to $249 with a contract signed.
