HTC’s next Android smartphone pictures leaked

All HTC fans probably know some details about upcoming Android smartphone that is going to be the next flagship on HTC awesome gadgets line. Thanks to a nimble tipster in Taipei, Taiwan who had caught it on camera in the city’s metro system, now we can appreciate the phone with all its charm.

Of course, some people can say it looks like the original HTC Desire and others would claim it is the same phone we have reported earlier. However, from the pictures below we have many reasons to think this is the next Android-based HTC flagship.

Anyway, as the HTC Desire is the most powerful smartphone since it has been announced at last year’s MWC, if HTC wants to keep up, it has to bring more attractive features to this gadget. This means the upcoming device must sport not less than 3.7 inch touchscreen, more than 576MB of RAM, a dual-core processor, etc. Must confess, if these features would lack in the phone, it’ll be a disappointment for HTC fans.

I tend to think it is the HTC Desire 2 as it is going to be announced at Mobile World Congress in three weeks, so I guess HTC has planned to unveil the successor of its most powerful handset in a year. Though most likely the device will get another codename.
