When HTC began to unveil its new smartphones from the “S” line, all HTC fans from the U.S. were afraid they couldn’t get these handsets since they were designed for Europe and Asia. But all these smartphones in face of the HTC Desire S, Wildfire S, Incredible S and Desire HDS are Gingerbread gadgets, and I guess the Taiwanese company won’t miss its chance to attract more users from the U.S. All the above mentioned smartphones will be available in the U.S. via different carriers and will be renamed. There won’t be real differences between the European and the U.S. versions, and I’ve also heard that the HTC Wildfire S will come in two other colors via Vodafone.
On Vodafone’s website we can see grey and purple models of the HTC Wildfire S; the handset in these colors can’t be found elsewhere. I think the purple version will go over well with the ladies. But be sure this device will win geeks’ hearts not only with its external features, but also with the fact that the Wildfire S runs on Gingerbread, and has inherited all useful specs from its predecessor.
The HTC smartphones are not known for their various colors, but European operators decided to gladden their customers, I mean the red Incredible S. It’s a good campaign to attract more buyers, though HTC has gained its name long ago.
Vodafone doesn’t mention a launch date or a price tag, but we hope it wоn’t be very expensive as the Wildfire is the smallest Gingerbread smartphone in the market, and a high price can make it less popular.
