I guess the HTC Wildfire S is the weakest smartphone among HTC handsets with the “S” letter. But it surprises us very often. The latest news about the smartphone that surprised me refers to the announcement the HTC Wildfire S will be launched in silver exclusively via Virgin Mobile. Altogether, the phone’s palette is motley (previously it was launched in black, white, grey and purple). I have grabbed a silver HTC Wildfire S hands-on video for your viewing pleasure.
On the whole, the phone doesn’t boast of stunning features, as it is designed for entry-level market, but it doesn’t yield to other handsets in terms of software and some hardware specs. Well, the main disappointing thing is the 3.2-inch HVGA display. But note that the device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and looks quite attractive. It becomes even more attractive when we consider its price — $199.99 without any agreement.
