There are rumors that HTC is planning to bring three new phones on Windows Mobile platform — the Whitestone, the Mega and the Tachi (or Taichi).
The Whitestone is a new version of the HTC Touch Diamond2, supporting GSM and CDMA; it also has a Qualcomm processor and is equipped with 7600 528 MHz memory and 512 MB ROM + 256 MB of RAM. The smartphone has a touchscreen with a diagonal of 3.6 inches and a 5 megapixel camera. It also supports GPS and aGPS. The Operating System is Windows Mobile 6.1. The Whitestone will appear on the shelves in September or October.
The HTC Mega is a low-cost smartphone on the Windows Mobile 6.5 platform. It is equipped with a Qualcomm 7225 processor, 256 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM, a 2.8 inch touchscreen, a 3 megapixel camera and a gpsOne chip.
The HTC Tachi / Taichi is for the Chinese market and goes under the brand name Dopod.
