HTC Vivid AT&T Software Tour Video
AT&T has at least two handsets in its portfolio, which managed to become the company’s first LTE smartphones — the HTC Vivid and the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Both handsets are perfect in terms of hardware (to learn more about the HTC Vivid check out our review). Now let’s see what software performance the HTC Vivid ensures.

Our friends at Pocketnow have already shot a video, so I suggest that we talk about its software and watch it. Well, HTC Vivid AT&T runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0. As you see the HTC Vivid doesn’t run the latest software specs (Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is in works and will be pushed out for HTC devices in coming months). As for HTC UI, we know there is the HTC Ville expected to run on Sense 4.0. And let’s not forget about the handsets, which currently have Sense 3.5 on board.
As usual, there are a number of apps pre-installed — some of them can be removed, others cannot. According to the author, the device works perfect. I am glad to hear such opinion because HTC has yet not reached a level of producing all-perfect smartphones. Anyway, the HTC Vivid seems to have good chances to stand out, and taking into account its price ($199.99 with a two-year contract), we can state HTC has done a great work.
