HTC to Use Broadcom Hardware Platforms

So and HTC starts thinking seriously on using dual-core processors from Broadcom. It is likely that in the near future HTC smartphones will be based on mid-level hardware platforms Broadcom.

Currently, HTC uses only processors by by Qualcomm priced significantly higher than Broadcom. So, if HTC and Broadcom come to somehow mutually beneficial agreement, we can see prices of new products from HTC declining, making them more accessible and popular.
