HTC to Launch Its Own Samsung Galaxy Note

Though phablets are not that popular nowadays Samsung is benefiting from its Galaxy Note sales. This causes much envy among other manufacturers but they don’t dare to launch their own phablets. Well, experimenting has never scared HTC, so it’s no big surprise to learn the Taiwanese company is preparing its own version of the Samsung Galaxy Note.

BGR reports the new phablet made by HTC will sport a 5-inch screen with a 1080p resolution and a new Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with four cores. It will come with HTC Sense 5.0 pre-installed. There is no word as to which Android version HTC’s phablet will run. The device is rumored to hit the market in fall, thus, the manufacturer might adjust its launch date with the launch of Android 5.0 Jelly Bean.

The exclusive carrier of this smartphone/tablet will be Verizon, and it’s quite reasonable as if HTC wants to compete with Samsung in this niche, it needs the best opportunity — Big Red can provide it.
