The HTC Titan is rapidly getting updates. If at first the updates were available for UK and Denmark units, now the update is being rolled to other territories as well. It’s a carrier-based update, according to Microsoft, which means we should not expect all HTC handsets will get it.

This is a minor update coded as 7740. It fixes the voicemail notification bug and finally allows to get most out of the Exchange 2003 email functionality. Unfortunately, the graphics lag, which is another issue faced by the handset, will not be included in the fix list of this update.
The update is being delivered by Microsoft, that’s why we have the same update rolled to Samsung handsets sporting Windows Phone OS.
We are not sure whether AT&T will be included in the list of the carriers offering the update or not. Well, yet there is no official statement from the carrier about the dismissal of the update, so hopefully U.S. customers will get the chance of receiving the update as well. The reason for the late roll of the update in the U.S. might be related to the late release of the HTC Titan in this country.
