In early September HTC announced about two new smartphones running Windows Phone Mango, the HTC Titan and Radar. On the whole, they were the first of those handsets that were intended to run the latest version of Microsoft’s operating system. Later each of these devices was introduced by a certain carrier — the HTC Radar headed to T-Mobile, and the HTC Titan appeared in AT&T’s lineup. Moreover, according to the initial information, they were to hit the market this fall. Now everything’s talking in favor of this rumor, because the phone started to be pre-ordered in Europe a couple of weeks ago, and at this moment they are ready for pre-orders in the U.S. as well.
CellHunt.com is the first offering these awesome smartphones statewide, so if you fear there will be problems if you directly purchase the phones from the carriers, this is a good chance to ensure you. Though I have to say that the HTC Radar and Titan are not being pre-ordered at a low price. The retailer offers the unlocked versions that are compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, Cellular One, and a number of other carriers, but prices are higher than expected — CellHunt.com requires $599.99 for the HTC Radar, and $799.99 for the HTC Titan.
While in some sense it’s an affordable price for the HTC Titan, as it’s going to be the most powerful smartphone running Mango featuring 4.t-inch giant display, I don’t actually get who will pay such a high price for a mid-range smartphone like the HTC Radar is. Anyway, this pre-order is actual and you can reserve one for you, though the launch date is not mentioned. So if you decide to go for it, let us know.
