Android 4.0 ICS update is perhaps the most expected one for Android owners. While some devices come pre-installed with the current version of the Android OS, others do not have a chance to taste ICS. The HTC One series will be the first HTC series to come pre-loaded with this version of the OS with the corresponding HTC Sense 4.0 UI.
Older devices such as the HTC Thunderbolt by Verizon still have to wait. If we trust the leaked info, the update for this model is already ready, but it still has to pass a testing. At the moment the update is rolled out to a few lucky customers, who need to test their devices and see whether the update works smoothly or not.
The update release date is not announced, but most likely it will be available sometime this month, well if the testing process goes still. The UI version coming with the update should be HTC Sense 3.6 similar to that of the HTC Sensation XE, as the hardware of the Thunderbolt cannot be called more advanced.
