At first day of the CES exhibition 2010 HTC finally announces its long-awaited entry-level smartphone HTC Smart (earlier known as HTC Touch.B / HTC Rome). The phone differs from the earlier entry-level smartphones of the same company. It is based on a mobile platform Qualcomm Brew. The interface used on the device is HTC Sense UI. It also supports functions such as Stay Close, Make It Mine and Discover the Unexpected.
The device goes on sale in Europe and Asia already this spring but still there’s no info about the price of this device. As according to the rumors it would still be acceptable.
