The first info on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for HTC handsets is finally revealed. Yesterday the company announced via its Facebook page the first batch of ICS updates will be available in late March. The first devices to get the update will be the high-end smartphones of the Sensation lineup including the HTC Sensation, the HTC Sensation 4G and the HTC Sensation XE. A little later the HTC Sensation XL will be included in the list too.
Well, it’s not that good taking into account other manufacturers have not made any similar announcement. Thus HTC will be one of the first companies to bring a new breath to its smartphones. Moreover, HTC has also mentioned the rest of the smartphones, which “have won a lucky ticket” and will be updated to Android 4.0 in the future. They are the HTC Rezound, the HTC Vivid, the HTC Amaze 4G, the HTC EVO 3D, the HTC EVO Design 4G, the HTC Incredible S, the HTC Desire S and the HTC Desire HD.
On the whole almost all high-end smartphones will get the update, and I guess there will be no many HTC user complaining of anything. Am I right?
