It’s not a secret that HTC has plans to introduce a new and more improved version of the HTC Sense UI. But this might not be the only expectation from the HTC roadmap.

“Shutter Lag” Fix
The Sense UI will be coming with a list of features, including the “shutter lag” fix. The main issue is that you need too much of time while taking a picture via the camera of the gadget.
“With that lag you have, you usually miss the shot when you have things that are moving. We are trying to make it easier for people to make better quality pictures,” said Kouji Kodera, HTC Chief Product Officer.
The new fix will come up with the HTC EVO 3D and might land to the rest of the upcoming devices of the manufacturer.
Co-branding and form-factor
If you get a simple user and ask him what is the difference between the HTC Desire and the HTC Desire S, or the HTC Incredible and the HTC Incredible S, you will learn that it’s quite a difficult question. While the same cannot be said about the HTC Cha-Cha. The device has almost no improvements if compared to the rest of the high-end gadgets of the carrier.
But the main thing is that it has an interesting form-factor and a special FB button. The simple step of making a branding with Facebook leads to the success of the device in the European market. Those two factors are basically more user oriented.
Low-end devices
HTC-manufactured devices were mainly targeted to male customers. But now HTC is introducing the S series of the models, which are smaller and simpler and attract the attention of the ladies. And now everything is going to get more serious, according to Kodera’с announcement that women are ”one of the markets we see we have an opportunity to develop.”
Another chance is that with the appearance of the S series HTC got the chance of introducing “less than $100″ type gadgets. This means that there’s a chance to have a wider range of customers in developing countries.
If all of the expectations turn on to be true, I bet that HTC’s Q4 results will get much more impressive, leaving the number one manufacturers like Apple or Research in Motion (RIM) far behind.
