When new smartphones are launched and plenty of reviews and comments make their way to the web locations, it is mainly about the very device, that is its speed, operating system, applications, networking and so on. These days any new smartphone is coming with a couple of useful accessories, the most important of them are certainly earplugs. But the latter is a way to supplement the phone, and not the vice versa. There is one company though, whose single accessory made a surprising debut success among all smartphone fans.
That company is HTC with its Charm accessory, coming with the HTC Rhyme. The latter is much spoken about as being specifically meant for female users, since its purple looks and design create such an impression. HTC though officially denied the HTC Rhyme was produced for women. Even if the Rhyme is made for women; there is one thing, which comes with it and interests all kinds of smartphone users – the Charm. There are already people trying this accessory on different HTC smartphones, and it works. Take for instance the HTC Rezound with its HTC Sense 3.5 UI and the Charm does its work perfectly well. It will be particularly handy for students, who would love to see notifications for incoming calls, or messages during the lesson.
It is not known if the Charm can work on other smartphones, but it seems the Charm is getting more popularity, and in future more phones can be tried to work with the device. Even if the Charm does not have e-mail notifications; it is still a tiny beautiful thing to have, but which can play a critical role in some situations.
