The HTC Rezound is one of those handsets, which should get its portion of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update sooner than others due to its popularity and authority. But it didn’t as the AT&T Vivid surpassed the Rezound. So the Rezound will be only the second in HTC’s smartphone lineup to get the update. Until yesterday it was questionable because there was a leak claiming the promised update is delayed and instead of it users will be given a minor update. Yesterday Best Buy sent out an internal memo to its employees notifying the scheduled ICS update will be rolled out on April 6.
This is the same doc informing the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx updates are delayed. Thus Best Buy’s memo was info heavy and besides these two news, we also learned the Android 4.0 ICS update will bring Beats Audio and HD Voice support to the phones lacking these features.
