HTC Rezound Offered for $79.99 at Verizon

The HTC Rezound is the only smartphone coming with Beats Audio built-in. It was the phone’s key feature and the carrier didn’t forget about it when shooting a video ad for the smartphone. Later it became known Beats support is a matter of software and not hardware, and HTC announced all ICS running smartphones would support Dr Dre’s audio system. Well, the Rezound sports other respectable features as well but customers keep distance from the phone because of its price (it was offered for $299.99). It’s much, agree. The phone’s price was reduced to $49.99 but this campaign didn’t last long, and the Rezound returned to its original price tag thereafter. At the moment the Big Red is coming up with an awesome offer selling the phone for only $79.99.

The HTC Rezound is not HTC’s current flagship because One series smartphones have already dethroned it but this phone still remains one of the brightest handsets of the company. It comes with a 4.3-inch S-LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash, a frontal 2MP camera for web chat, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, which will get ICS soon.

While you might think Verizon’s offer is unheard of, I have to remind you the case with Amazon, which was selling it for the same price. So Verizon is just repeating Amazon’s offer.
